Thanks - makes me want to try and beat it. I put it on the GX FB page and people just find it so easy to call me a liar. And I get keyboard courage. Just wish there was a way to shut them all up and prove it more factually. A few people have said they have easily gotten 400 at the zero mark.

Either way - we all have choices to believe or not and yes, I could have snuck in a gallon of 2 without saying but why the heck would I do that. This is all for fun and pushing the limits.
Ahh, the cesspool of the internet. Facebook. The place we would like to love, but hate all the idiots.

Hey brother Rick!

5,585 is the weight of the Premium and I have done nothing to it and have nothing in it. Other than my 192 pound body - it's dead empty.

I will add this-my 2024 OT+ with 8000 ish miles and a current average of 19.1 on the gauges and normal range of 360 miles on a refill. it seems to me at around 6-7000 mile mark that my mileage really started to improve from about 17mpg to the current reading of 19.1. the vehicle seems to glide down the highway now, for lack of a better way to describe the minimal throttle input needed to maintain speed. I am really happy with nearly everything about the vehicle now compared to our first date. I fill up at Sam's Club usually and use the recommended 91 octane. relatively flat I-40 commute. I watch my trip reading normally when I arrive at a destination and typically see 22+ mpg for a normal commute. wind makes a lot of difference. I reset the gx trip information about 2000 miles ago that shows the current 19.1 mpg overall. the last two tanks have been 20.5-20.7 mpg. roofrack removed, bone stock. The average keeps rising about a .1 (tenth after each tank or so) Go Dave K-i believe you.

What would be interesting is to know how many gallons you have left after it shows empty on the gauge. I think that would help ease some of the range anxiety because I think you have at least 3 to 4 gallons left even after it shows you have none.

Agreed but just not willing to let it run dry - although I am not sure why I am not willing because it should be as easy as carrying a gallon of gas for a single commute and just pulling over and dumping it in. BUT - I'll be the guy who get's clipped by an 18 wheeler on the side of the road and dies putting in the gallon. lol

Don't be that guy. Bad for the fuel pump and injectors. Just stick with being the Champion. No one will ever surpass you.

What happened to “hit the record and then drive it normally”? Don’t let it get inside your head!

Here’s a picture of a pig winning a trophy for doing the impossible. Be at peace.
