I just read the comments on the laminated/acoustic glass in our GX's. The comment about the laminated glass in our GX 550 is found in the Owner's Manual, page 508 is true - and a Laminated/acoustic glass cutting tool can be found online, and a couple of videos demonstrating the cutting tool, at around $900. Everything I found says a "pointed" hammer will not break the laminated glass, so I'm sure trying to "kick" the glass and break/knock it out isn't going to work either.
