It's been a little over 2 months of ownership with my gx550 overtrail and ive since noticed something with my headlights

I have a 2026 gx550 overtrail, with no 1in lift ( panama spec) just like the 2024 gx550 overtrail.
Thing is my headlights are pointing a little too low
I noticed that the angle they should be dropping is around 1.8% with in my understanding should be around 18cm below the standar position at 10 meters of distance...
I havee measured how high they are at 43 in std position ( 109.22cm)
And that means at 10 meters they should be at 91.22 cm or 35.99 in.

But they are much lower than that.
Has anyone done measurement of their headlights or how would you tell me to do such measurements i lterally compared it to my Lc150 prado an even thought the gx is higher is evident lights are lower.
Just there in that short distance the difference is noticeble , driving is worse. A lot lower.

not exact, but park 30 ft behind another car and adjust it as needed and make sure you aren't in the cars mirrors (side or rear)

you can use a long phillips head screw driver or a small socket. In the 2nd photo, you can see a white plastic piece. That is the screwdriver guide if you use a screwdriver. The plastic panels in the engine compartment above the headlights also tell you which way to turn to raise/lower the lights.

This has been very helpful, thank you very much for this explanation. Will do it today.
