Hi everyone! New to this forum, new owner of a 2025 GX 550 Overtrail. Quick question on using the included air compressor, hose and accessories. I find the kit unusable to fill the tires. Here’s what was included, there’s no coupling available to use on the tire side. Anyone have a solution? Thanks!

Hmmm - that hose and fittings does not look OEM. My OEM hose screws right onto the tire valve stem. You'll probably need to buy an air chuck like these to use with your hose:

The air chuck that Garauld recommended are far better than the screw on adapters. You don't loose any air putting them on or taking them off

Thank you! The only issue is that to put them on the hose and have them fit well, there has to be a thread on the chuck to accept the plastic sleeve that the chuck would screw into and these appear smooth and unthreaded after the hose connects to the nipple.

With the hose connected to the compressor, it appears you have the male coupler screwed into the end of the hose (normally using a 1/4" NPT thread):

You can buy an air chuck similar to what I showed you earlier and also procure a short 1/4" brass nipple from Lowes or HD to replace the male coupler on your hose in the image above. Remove the male coupler from the chuck and then screw the chuck onto the the nipple. You should then be good to go. Out of curiosity, how did you end up with that hose?

I have a 2025. I’m a bit confused. Do you have an ARB hose, is that what they gave you? The picture here is the OEM hose, the top connector is a screw-on connector, not a quick connect chuck, but it works excellent even though it takes a little bit more time to screw it on, but I have no complaints. I’ve used it tons of times and it works great

Your setup makes sense to me. They didn’t give me a kit so I had to ask for one after the fact and they ordered this kit for me. I just need to find a solution. Not sure what the quick connect specifications are but I’d need a quick connect female to female double coupler, I just need to know the standard so that it works. Mostly I see couplers for fluid, not sure if they’re the same for air. Thanks for your reply!

I might be OCD, but on a brand new GX550, I’d ask them to get you the correct air hose kit. It looks like this: OEM Air Compressor

Agree. OEM hose kit is simple and works great.
