Has anyone tried removing the cool box?

Once it is in, I don't think removal is an option unless you want to tear out the center console, remove the cooling "stuff" and then put in....what? Someone on this website provided a link to a tray that fits the coolbox for additional storage space - I go that, fits nicely, looks OEM.
