Dealer pricing

So, I've been trying to get some GX pricing info from upstate NY Lexus dealers within a reasonable driving distance of my location. The Rochester, NY dealer gave me some prices and then added these fees: NYSI $10, DMV fee $1.93, Tire Tax $12.50. I told them they reeked a bit of triviality and greediness. You're not making enough profit on MSRP? This did not sit well with me. Good bye. And so I then placed an order with the Syracuse dealer. Was I too critical?

Yep. The dealer rep. in Syr was nicer to deal with, a lot closer drive (still 1.5 hr drive) and wasn't charging those fees. I wondered if they'd nickel and dime me when it was time for service.

Not really. I never traveled to Rochester to meet them - I only conversed with them over the phone and emails.
