GX550 OT Rear door mirrors defrost icon (2 Viewers)

The passenger rear door mirror shows a defrost icon:

I turned on the rear window / door mirrors defrost switch and expected to see this icon light up but it did not. There is no mention of it that I could find in any of the Lexus literature. Is the defrost system temperature limited and thus didn't run? Has anyone seen this light up? Your thoughts - TIA?

I don't think there's a light back there, but my mirrors definitely heat up and defrost. Have used it a few times.

Noticed that too. Looks like the icon isn’t backlit, just there for reference.
