I also transferred all of my recovery gear and tools from the Tacoma to Inigo. Pretty happy with how the Chinesium molle panels work.

Almost have the front bumper installed.

Had a panic moment with the Smittybilt winch. I set it up to pull in the rope before installing the bumper and the motor just clicked and then the 3A fuse blew. I was using my bench power supply and it apparently wasn't generating enough juice. I replaced the fuse and used a battery charger and all is good.

Tomorrow I'll get 'er buttoned up.

Rear bumper install complete. Looks great.

The gap between the trim that I had to trim and the bumper is too big. Pisses me off that victory4x4 specifies a 5 1/2 inch cut when it really should be closer to 5 3/4.

I’ve ordered some edge trim of various sizes and flavors to see if I can fill that gap cleanly.

I also installed my 1 inch spacers on the rear wheels. I didn’t realize the kit didn’t come with four spacers so I’ve ordered another kit for the front.

I think this is just about the perfect amount of poke.

I will be putting different wheels and tires on at some point, but I decided I’m gonna utilize these tires through the end of the summer in the fall. Might as well get you out of the tires instead of just tossing them or try to sell.

That does look nice, functional and ready for whatever accessories. Basically worth it for me just to lose the rear diaper parts! 😊. I’ll look at it more closely once I get the new tires and wheels finished this week.

The gap maybe needed for the flex between the now chassis mounted bumper and the body. I suppose one way to tell is whether you have the same gap between the tailgate and the bumper in the center and the sides that have been cut

Looks great. One thing that I can’t stand on OTs is the atrocious rake that is about 2 inch higher in the back than the front. The lc 250 was never this bad as it never bothered me. I believe it was around 1.25. Maybe it is more due to higher load and toe rating but it is very much noticeable. Is your front bumper and winch significantly heavier than the rear ? If so how is your rake ?

I’m pretty sure the rake is there to support loads like my trailer. Once attached, I have opposite rake.

And that’s a pretty light trailer.

The built in air compressor IS THE BOMB! So convenient! I love how it has presets and automatically inflates/deflates to desired pressure… just move the hose to the next tire when it stops and it starts up again.

The Wolfbox 900 mirror is going to work great. These two products are needed to make it work:

The first moves the mirror away from the glass about 1", thus down about 3/4" which fixes (mostly) the front facing camera is otherwise too high, and thus the view occluded (see pic in previous post).

With this in place, the front camera still gets some of the surround, but not much. To make it fit, I had to cut some of the plastic. Easy.

The Dongar Pro device is GREAT. It makes installing the wiring for the wolfbox (or any USB-C) device extremely simple. Highly recommended product. It comes with a pigtail adapter for the Toyota/Lexus rear view mirror harness and is thus plug and play.

Next up is to run the wires to the rear camera, which I plan on mounting on the hitch receiver.

Now Inigo has officially been broken in…

Took him up to the Kennebec notch and some side trails. Lovely scratches along both sides from bushes, a nice scratch on the rear bumper, and a huge deflection of the skid plate.

So. Much. Fun.

Very happy with this rig.

Cleans up nice. I’ll get it on the lift this week to straighten out that skid plate.

Wescott Design sliders came. Well packed.

Wow, the build quality of these is amazing. Clearly robotically welded. Beefy as heck.

One hole (right rearmost, on the bottom) needed to be elongated about 1mm to get the bolt in; i reported this to Wescott. Instructions were non-existant and there's no good video online. But installation was super easy. They do a nice job of providing hooks on the two inner attachment points where you screw two bolts into the frame and then the sliders hang on those while you install the rest. Well thought through.

I'd prefer they not stick out as much as they do as I hate hitting my leg on steps when I get out of the truck. But having a step to get in IS good. If I were in charge, I'd design them to be 1-2" narrower.

Anyway, call me a satisfied customer.
