great watch and highlighted why I opted for the GX over the LC (even before understanding the history of the LC name)
When I saw the Landcruiser, both the 58 and the Landcruiser trims, and sat inside, I was thoroughly unimpressed.
The interior is particularly disappointing with cheap materials and hollow sounding doors. The best thing about the LC is the view out but that quality is the same for the GX.
I guess I was disappointed because I have had three previous LC's and the LC 250 just does not feel the same.
While the GX550 is also not based on the LC300, it feels much more polished and upscale.
Great video from someone who has been around a while.
