Installed 2024+ Lexus GX550 Single 30in Light Bar - SLIM (2 Viewers)

What do you guys think of this light setup? Powerful white light as well as Amber DRL backglow.

Fits 2024 2025 2026 Lexus GX550

Fits models: GX550 Premium, GX550 Luxury. GX550 Overtrail
  • Installs behind the lower grille
  • Must remove whole front grille for installation
  • DOES NOT affect cooling of the radiator
  • DOES NOT interfere with active shutters
  • Metal bracket is powder coated black
  • No cutting or drilling required. The kit is a complete bolt on using factory openings and hardware.
Choose your light bar color:

1) White LED -- Up to 11,760 lumens, bright and powerful. It will definitely provide you with enough light needed for all of your adventures. However, these are only for off-roading and can’t be used on the regular road. They will blind the in-coming traffic and also violates road safety.

2) Amber LED -- Up to 5,500 lumens, used in poor driving conditions such as dust, fog, snow and rain. It reflects through air particles much less than the white light. Therefore, making it ideal for poor driving conditions.

3) dual function: main White LED light with Amber DRL backglow -- the white LED light is same as described above, but the amber DRL “daytime running lights” acts purely for aesthetics. It doesn’t give out much light, but more of a beautiful amber backglow. Since it doesn’t give out much light, you can use this amber DRL feature on regular roads, it doesn't blind in-coming traffic.

I just had the 30" Amber light bar installed on my 2025 OT, and really light this mod. It is very subtle and the fitment perfect. It pumps out a lot of light for my offroad use and rural back roads. I can firsthand verify the 4Runner Aux High pigtails are plug and play for Aux 1 & 2. I bought the pigtail for $15 from Toyota online parts. If you're in driving distance from Frederick, MD I can recommend Fredneck 4x4 as an installer, I was in and out in 2 1/2 hrs and they rock with this type of work. Some pics below, lights off and on.

Any pics of how you ran the wiring ?

the Aux 1 & 2 connector is near the washer fluid container to connect the Aux Hi pigtail, it has 4 wires, 2 power and 2 grounds. We connected the Lt Blue for Aux 1. Wires from light bar are close to the Aux 1-2 pigtail, and use zip ties

Did you get power from the battery or straight from the vehicle plug
Used the Aux connector with the pigtail. Starting in 2025 the OT has 4 Aux switches on the dash, and the Aux 1 & 2 have the connector for pigtail in the front drivers side, and the Aux 3 &4 are powered by the connector located at the front passenger side or inside the cabin. These are pre-wired for power. See below from Owners Manual
