Lexus Advisory Board?

Got an email asking me to become a member of some sort of customer board that Lexus uses to query their customers about the GX 550. I don't own mine any more, but am hoping to get one in maybe 2026. Did anybody else get an email like this? Maybe it's just a third party scam. I can't really tell. Here is the text of the email to me with the link in it:

First of all, thank you for being a Lexus customer! We hope you are enjoying your new vehicle.

We would like to invite you to the Lexus Advisory Board - a community of select Lexus customers who are directly involved in the ongoing evaluation and development of Lexus products and services. The goal of this community is to make the ownership experience even better for all Lexus owners.

We are very interested in your participation and hope that you will join us. Simply click on the link below to complete a profiling questionnaire. After that, you will be invited to participate in discussions, in-person events, and other surveys on various topics related to Lexus.

As a token of our appreciation, when you complete this survey you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of three Amazon.com gift cards.

Looks like it's not a scam. The fine print at the bottom of the email takes me to the Toyota corporate site. Also, I googled it and apparently, its a thing they do to get feedback. I should have googled it first. Still interesting. Maybe somebody else on the forums will get on there and give them the business. I wonder if I received it because I made a formal complaint to corporate and got a case number?

I participated in one of those years ago when I bought my GS 350 (right after the last redesign). It was a fun experience, and I was happy to provide some feedback for numerous new offerings. The one that I remember was how they launched the Enform suite as a subscription service. The group's feedback was that it was neat, but definitely not something we would ever pay for. Coincidentally (or not), that quickly became a free feature.

I also got it and checked that it is not a scam. Toyota works with this marketing company.
