Mark Levinson upgrade disappointing

Just logged the issue with Lexus N/A - rep said the best way for this to be addressed is at the national level as these issues can get lost at the dealer level if they mark ‘could not replicate’

Service confirmed it is "working as expected", which I needed confirmation to open a case with 800-25-LEXUS. How do I now get them to agree its flawed and ask for this new amplifier??

Turn it up to 50+ on a bass heavy song. Soon the bass (and lower midrange) will cut out for a few seconds, then come back. No more evidence than that needed. It's a known issue. Your dealer should be aware of it.

That's just how the system sounds. I found it to have decent clarity on the highs and mids but really lacks on the low end. Also the sound stage just sounds off. Like all of the volume is focused up front and doesn't fill the cabin evenly if that makes sense? IMO it could definitely use a better subwoofer/amp combo. Not sure what could be done about the spacing of the sound... maybe some sort of "re-tuning" on the system or reposition some speakers? Overall it is VERY underwhelming considering the upcharge and the 21 speaker count they advertise.
I still haven’t found the 21 speakers, I did find 15. I have looked at the speaker map and boy is it confusing, I am not sure if it shows 21. As far as the sound, it is straight up horrible, fading in and out what the heck. Lexus put three speakers up front on the dash, for what. The McIntosh system with 19 speaker in my previous vehicle would blow this ML system out if the water.

Six of the speakers are actually dual speakers, for a total of 21.
