Assuming you are doing a DashCam, I question if you are doing this correctly.
Normal configuration for dash cams is the main device on/at the windshield is the single source of power for all cameras, (typically from a fuse box but could also be from an ODB port). A USB cable -- although cable can be proprietary -- carries both power to and signal from the rear facing camera. If a camera needs power at the rear hatch then the design and configuration is a one off, IMO.
There are a lot of YouTube videos out there, some from "Chris Fix" were pretty good when I installed dash cams myself. Here's
another one I watched a few times, this guy is installing on a vehicle similar to a GX550. Some of the DashCam manufacturers have install videos also.
The DIY-ers on YT should all tell you this next point. If they do not then skip them they're immediately suspect. Be extra-super, double careful whenever you run cables behind trim pieces (A Piller etc.) and under headliners, etc. So as to not obstruct any air bags. Your USB cable could inadvertently obstruct the designed blow-out path for an airbag. They you're in an accident and your insurance company says get lost, it's your fault.
