OEM+ DASHCAM BY FITCAMX REVIEW (3 Viewers)

Joined the club and installed the FitcamX today. The top cover was a bit of a pain to deal with, but the tips on this forum really helped. Thanks everyone.

I installed the fitcamx last week. It took about 15 minutes. I think the redesigned the clips to make it easier. The card that came with it was upgraded to a 128 sandisk

The video quality for the fitcamx is trash. Can’t read license plates or street signs at night. Get a viofo and connect it to the ECU for 24/7 surveillance without having to tap into the fuse and running longer wires from the engine bay to the front windshield

I have never had a problem reading plates with mine and works just as well at night. I have no affiliation with FitcamX, but very impressed with the OEM look and the video quality on my end.

Did you take the protective lens film off?

Yes. It also didn’t always record for me. At night time whenever there is LED signs or license plates it was way over exposed. Maybe I got a faulty one but if it’s unreliable once, it’s a no go for me.
