@Rhino-Rack are molle rear window panels that attack to the rack coming aswell?

We've looked into it in the past but don't currently have it in the development pipeline. Because of how easy it is to mount to the t slots in the crossbars, I wouldn't doubt another company's side molle panel would work on our rack.

Hey guys and gals, excited to announce that our Reconn Platform is finally here IN STOCK in Denver and shipping next day. We have limited quantity and orders are coming in. Here with any questions, and link to order below.

How does you rack compare to the 550 Lux+ “premium rack” regarding wind noise?
Speeds over 40mph will create wind howl. 70-80mph is similar to hairdryer according to my noise meter app.
Would your front wind deflector fit on to the Lux+ rack? If so you have a new customer.

Are you talking about this rack? Picture below for reference. That's the Overtrail rack and yes I've heard and noticed terrible noise. I've driven about 5-6000 miles with this rack on both the GX550 and LC250 and think it's quieter. But it depends on wind conditions. It's most noticeable above 65 mph and crosswind, but other times on the highway I don't even know it's there.

A lot of this has to do with the aggressive angles of the body and there's just no easy way around it, which is why Lexus even has a hard time figuring it out. I spent a week in Moab with the GX550 with a Reconn Platform on and rooftop tent, and I couldn't believe how quiet it was.

As for fit, I'm not sure what you're asking exactly, but the Reconn Platform replaces the entire setup. You remove all the factory roof hardware, and this bolts into its place. The only modification needed is cutting a small section of the weather stripping towards the front so the front mounts can press into the channel.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

This is just legal CYA (we're a publicly traded company ). It runs the same risk as any roof rack that the fabric on those machines could technically get caught in the rack and something could happen.

As a car fan in general, the only automatic car wash I'll take any vehicle through is touchless. Those things wreck clear coats.

how much weight can it hold? I tried to find it from the link but might have missed it.

I believe this was designed in Sydney Australia and there is almost zero wind noise from it. 👍
Just got mine on yesterday. Not "zero" wind noise, but WAAAAAAY more tolerable than the stupid Lexus bolt-on rack. And it looks KILLER. Even better in person. Changed the whole look of the rig, and I don't even have my lift/tires/wheels/etc on there yet.

Love hearing that! Post up some pics!
