So when I first got my GX, I noticed the back side window had bubbles so I took it in and they re-tinted it.

Well it came out almost the same and worse in some parts. The tech said it’s because of the little dots (frits/dot matrix) that are merged as part of the window from production.

Doesn’t sound or look right.

What do you all think?

Anybody have the same issue?

Not understanding. Can you clarify what's glass and what's film in your post? How about an overall of where it's located too.

I don’t know the exact film they used but here’s a picture of the small window in the back that it’s happening to on both sides.

Dig in. Ask them what they used and who installed it (local shop most likely). Probably somebody here can compare what they had done on that window.

What difference does it make? And they may not even know. If I understand correctly, the OP just picked up a brand new vehicle from the dealer and the windows were bubbling. That's not OK

I had the same problem, after some time in the sun the issue went away

Yeah it’s been two weeks since they re-tinted and it’s still there. Just going to add it to my list of things that need to be fixed (massage seat not working, brake noise, hood flutter).

Small things that are mostly annoying but I still love my GX.

I would continue to have them retint it or use a different product or do a refund and use another shop

In fact - the shop I use is known to be more expensive than others and they usually fix what others mess up

When the going gets tough, the tough get going!

Mine has them too…and my tint guys are incredible. You can either not tint there…which would look weird…or just live with it. I’m choosing the latter.
