šŸ› ļø What did you do in your GX today? (2 Viewers)

Install is very easy, it’s 6 bolts. I didn’t have ramps, and it was a little tight to do it flat on the ground so I went to an off-road shop that had a lift and only charged a minor labor charge to do it. If I had a way to lift it a bit on my own it’s definitely a DIY job.

It’s double the thickness of the original skid and provides protection to the cats. Originally my biggest issue was the shipping charge but I found a vendor that sells it that had a lower shipping charge.

The other thing I liked is that it can be used with the oem front skid. I had considered the Victory one but they said the oem front skid would require modification to work.
Thanks for the breakdown really helpful. I like that it works with the OEM front skid, that’s a big plus. I’m leaning towards starting with the mid or transmission skid first. Did you notice much difference in weight compared to the OEM plate?

It’s heavier for sure, but not really that heavy honestly with it being aluminum. The UPS data shows the package was 27lbs delivered.

Had Electric Steps installed - VIKOR Industries in Oz šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗ hug close to the body with infill panel to finish it off.

I've seen this thread pinned on a lot of other forums I've been a part of in the past and it's a good way to share what you've done with your rig for the day. Could be a mod, an adventure, anything.

I'll start.

Today had 22" Vossen HF-7 on 285/45 Nitto Terra Grapplers mounted and installed.
Excuse the dirty car, lots of rain in the PNW

Today, I bought OEM crossbars for my Premium Plus, but I realized I still need the raised rails. Newbie here.

-2025 Overtrail with the roof rail delete

-OEM TRD Pro Wheels powder coated Satin Gold…. Figuring out the tires and what needs to be taken off/trimmed to clear 275 or 285 /70R18…. Considering doing the 2024 Overtrail ā€œlowering springsā€ as well. The rake has me thinking
