2025 GX SQUEAKY BRAKES? (1 Viewer)

Not that I’ve heard anyone being denied here, but in my opinion you’d be fine within the first 10k getting it replaced since they did mine at 7500, but the longer you go there’s a chance they could say some outside factor is causing it like a warped rotor or something else that would not be covered under warranty. The noise is pretty annoying so if it were me I would just get it done

for my 2025 OT I got the front brakes replaced at dealer today (Ourisman in MD), it only took 2 days for parts. I showed the service manager video of the squealing while backing up, and he ordered parts right away. New rotors and pads, and shim kit. Definitely a relief.

Thanks for the video idea, was wondering how I would convince the dealer that they squeak when cold after I'd driven the car 10 miles to them and they had warmed up.

Had mine done last week. Brought it in for 10k service 2 weeks earlier and service advisor simply asked if I had any issues with noisy brakes as there was a recall on them. I said yes and he simply said no problem, I’ll order the parts.

Seems insane new models aren't coming from the factory with the fix? Can anyone explain why this is the case?

I saw previous discussion about squeaky brakes and replacement parts for 2024. Anyone has squeaky brakes for 2025 model? I heard several pretty loud squeaky noise when car is in reserve under rain. Forward is ok. I didn’t have time to test more since I was on my way to pick up kids. Any brake problem for 2025? My car is only a couple hundred miles.

My 2025 GX has squeaky brakes when reversing and sometimes when driving forward slowly.
