I’ve pulled the b pillar panels, it’s not that bad, and added felt tape, tightened bolts, and all manner of things and it hasn’t done a single thing. One guy on the LC forum self adjusted some spot welds inside the pillar and said he made them go away but I’m not about to wack a screwdriver into my welds.

I always thought it was the seat belt mechanism ... sounded like a loose spring, like a light metalic vibration

I thought so too but I’ve tightened all the bolts down, I even added some fabric tape to the slider for the up/down to remove any play it had, etc and it still does it. I even tried giving the seatbelt a yank to trigger the locking mechanism and held it there and that won’t stop it.

And it’s maddening how it will no do it sometimes and other times it ticks away like crazy, which makes me wonder if it is panel/weld related because the c pillar noise was a metallic clicking/tapping as well.

maybe temperature expansion contraction type thing...Im also on E rated tires so new sounds are starting to pop up

My 2026 OT+ windows sticker has the MSRP b4 any options and DPH fee at $81,395, so it looks like the 2027 OT+ MSRP is bumped by $2k approximately. Google AI puts the bump for the OT+ 2027 MY at $1.5k vs $3.6k for the 2026 MY .

Overtrail was the most Cheapest GX in 2024 and hiked up the most in 2025. I had a 2024 base Overtrail locked in for a Caviar , but really did not want to go with a "Black" truck

So my take aways are that it’s essentially the same vehicle.

New 2027 made in the Tahara plant in Japan - and only significant change is : “New for 2027, Luxury, Luxury+ and Overtrail+ grades come equipped with ventilated rear outboard seats. The third row is available in both power and manual seat configurations. A rear seat reminder is included as a safety and convenience feature.”

No sweeping changes to rear air conditioning, or rework of the useless phone charger. And the price didn’t bump significantly.

Seeing the published prices reminds me of the $15k difference between the premium and OT plus… it always makes more sense to buy the premium and change out suspension and tires ? For that delta you could invest in Kings/ Portals and 35 inch tires and not be too far off the mark.

The limited changes puts me at ease owning a 2026 OT plus.

i thought they were all made in Tahara ?
