Can we get a show of hands for members that are running 285 75 18 tires on their OT stock wheels with no lift?
... and has anyone verified no interference at full compression?
Thank you to everyone for the experimentation and info on this topic.
I really want to put this size tire on my '25 OT.
Thanks for the reply. Is this someone you know?View attachment 17475

Well thanks again, though I'm really hoping to hear from any folks that are actually running this setup. No I saw it on FB. This is another ‘25 on 285/75s (believe they’re a member on here)View attachment 17477
I haven’t done it but most first-hand accounts say remove crash-bars and no rub at all. Some rub without removal at full compression. I plan on running this setup when the stock Toyos goWell thanks again, though I'm really hoping to hear from any folks that are actually running this setup.
I think I've seen both of those pictures on various internet forums, but I cannot recall reading any first hand accounts from people that are actually running that set up.
The title of this thread led me to believe this would be the place to hear first-hand accounts. Maybe I should just try to start a dedicated thread to see if there's anyone actually having success with this combo, including any interference at full compression.
Rigid armorWhat brand and model of carrier is that? Looks pretty good. TIA.
