Oh I know, can you imagine? The handle would get turned from air flow, or water, or bushes off road or whatever. Then "CRUNCH" and boat anchor for an engine.

The spigot idea is a solution looking for the problem that doesn’t exist…

they actually make this to simplify oil change. Search up fumoto valve. I have these on all my cars. Make the job very clean and easy.

I get that, just don’t see the need to simplify a bolt…

First thing I do on all my vehicles is install the Fumoto valve......makes toolless oil changes a breeze.

DO U USE THE OEM OIL OR OTHER BRANDS? TIA

Any top brand 0-20 is fine. Nothing special about Toyota oil. I’m running Valvoline Advance. Using the recommended viscosity is much more important.
