For my fellow kings suspension users! (1 Viewer)

I've been driving the past few days at 6 clicks from full soft. It's a noticeable smoother ride but it also seems to wander a bit, or maybe it's just the steering that is more vague. I'm going to drop to 2 clicks from soft and try to hit some woopdies on a few roads around here.

I'm actually at the firmest setting and find it pretty good. Maybe with all the weight and at 37 PSI the car rides rather plush even at the 1 Firm setting.

Installed the ICON adjustable track bar and Dr. KDSS BOTCH TrackBar correction bracket today and finally no more boat feel or excessive swaying when turning. Truck drives straight finally!

Nice, how do you like the ride?
So far so good. Firmer and more planted rather than excessive swaying side to side. With the added height due to preload in the front and higher capacity springs in the rear the OEM track bar became too short and angled down so the ride became a problem.

I have a trip up to Santa Barbara and Bakersfield over the weekend so I can really assess the ride afterwards.

what height adjustment did you guys use for the fronts?
i adjusted mine to 1” of coil space, but doesn't seem enough with my Eibach springs.

Just had my kings installed, kind of forgot to mention that I wanted the fronts leveled with the rear.. rig kinda sits with a rake and I honestly think it drives better when I had it with another kit..

Now my question fellas, did you guys keep it at what the kings came at or did you raise it? Or level it?

Here’s a pic of how she sits.. I’ll try and take a pic of the car when it’s on more level ground.

Beautiful! Is that an Overtrail? The only reason I ask is, I'm on the waiting list for an Overtrail+ and started researching what I want to do with it. I had a 2020 TRD Pro 4runner with an Icon Stage 7 and 34's that I really loved. It drove amazing.

I called ICON with some questions today about what setup I should go with and they told me flat out "We don't offer anything for the Overtrail+ models at all, if you unplug the magnetic suspension stuff, your dashboard will light up like a Christmas tree with error codes"...

Now, I KNOW I've seen some 88Rotors Videos of them lifting Overtrail+ Models, so I gave them a call to get their take on that. They said they do them all the time and all they do is unplug the mag-shocks and coil up that wire somewhere in case you ever want to go back to stock... They added "Of course, those suspension settings will no longer work, but you won't have any trouble either"...

Thanks for any info you can provide as I sort this out.

My Overtrail has no warning lights or error codes , but I have heard the dealership can recalibrate the computer so all the radar and yaw sensors can be put at correct zero

My Overtrail stock shocks are gone and replaced with Kings and no error codes. Comfort mode is now meaningless but you obviously still get the changes to steering, transmission, and throttle response with Sport and Sport+ modes.
