Hola,

For those who have King 2.5s front & rear....

What are you using for your rear spring?

I currently have my stock rear spring with the Westcott Designs pre-load collar lift pucks. It sits nice & level but it squats and bobs and weaves when I'm loaded up. I just finished a work/camping trip and my nerd ass weighed everything as I unloaded my truck. Kind of surprisingly, it added up to an incredibly round number, 502 lbs. Like a commercial for spring rates. So I want to replace my current setup with an appropriate aftermarket spring. I will probably do Camburg rear lower arms / trailing arms (not LCAs as I mistakenly said previously) at the same time. I run around plenty unloaded but I can soften the rear a bit with the King dials. I currently run my Kings 2 clicks from total hard in the front and 4 clicks in the rear.

Sounds like a dual rate Icon or Dobinsons will work with your setup. PM me again! Happy to help. :)

Yes, I believe that others are using Icon rear springs, curious to hear what people are using and their opinions. I'll definitely reach out to you, IntrinoX/BBO, when I'm ready to purchase.

I'm currently running Eibach pro lift springs on the rear and it was sitting perfectly level but now with tire carrier and camping gear loaded car is sagging about 1-1.5 inch in the rear. After doing some research and recommendation by nonamex, placed order for Dobinson C59-819V.

Dobinsons C59-819V if you intend to have a constant weight of 550 - 770 lbs.

I had the Icon previously which sagged after putting in a drawer system and fridge.

I found the ride with the Dobinsons to be more compliant on and off road.
Took the vehicle on White Rim immediately after installing the Dobinsons. I have the 821V version since the rear is pretty heavy.

Which Camburg LCA fits the GX550? I didn’t find anything for the GX on the website.

I'm sorry, I meant the Camburg rear arms / trailing arms, not lower control arms.

Camburg Engineering | Your source for everything suspension

I had a set of these but I returned them after a few months when shipping of the matching Camburg blue front upper control arms were perpetually "any day now".

The Dobinsons sound like the springs I need. I'll explore their options. The issue I may have is that I ride around a lot fully UNLOADED - I camp quite a bit but not all the time so I go from unloaded to 500+pounds. I don't want the ride to feel like a jackhammer when I'm unloaded. I'm hoping that softening the Kings can help with that.

I'm using icon rear springs. Icon UCAs icon full rear arms my fronts have settled since I put my kings on I'm going to raise the front to match my rears.

@Bluegill yessir i got around a 3in lift in the rear with it. if i were to do it again i would just get the panhard bar and maybe rear LCA from camburg like you did.

We all start sagging at some point!
