Hi all,

Finally getting an Overtrail Earth coming in October! Doing a deep dive on wheels. Decided to go with 285/70/17 (33ish) to keep the ride similar to OEM while getting a better offroad result.

This is a tough size to find a good forged wheel without too much poke. Looking for something 20+mm and its not easy! For those who do off-roading are forged wheels a must? Or can I go flow formed or cast aluminum without much of a compromise? Considering a black wheel. Thanks!

I think you meant 285/70/17 because 185 might be a tad small. Anyway, take a look at Volk Racing wheels for forged wheels at +20 offset. For Flow Formed I would suggest Relations Race Wheels. These are hub centric wheels at +25 offset.

They have some nice wheels but everything appears to be in 17"... Too bad as I would consider them in 18"s

Yup, typo! Find there's a big difference between flow formed vs forged?
