FYI - I bought these windshield seals a few weeks ago and was blown away how much wind noise improvement it provided during our 20 hour road trip. I didn't' even adhere the stickers, just stuck them in the slots and they work PERFECT. I ordered a backup set, just in case. That's how much I love them.

Seconded - I used this in conjunction with "flat" wire for my light bar (can also be purchased on Amazon). The wire fits under the channel/slots on the either side and then the windshield seals cover the gap. It's a lot cleaner than line hide from KC or others imo. You only see a small stretch of wire kickout at the very top of the windshield.

FWIW, I installed the garmin power switch. No physical switch or wires through the firewall. Comes up in CarPlay screen. I love it. The ditch light brackets and location…not so much. It’s almost impossible to adjust without removing the winch and the whole front bumper cover, and one of mine got pushed back/upwards offroad last weekend…sigh. JW Offroad really needs to redesign that bumper with a better way to access/adjust those after the bumper is installed.
I just sent you a direct message,
I'm installing a power switch today and would love to see where you tapped power, and where you decided to mount it.
-Cheers

Installed a neat little 3D-printed item a couple days ago. This is a sunglass holder that sticks up above the rear view mirror from Fuel & Fire (Facebook link).

It's a nice storage cubby in that unused space. So far all I've stuck up there is a spare .45 magazine.

On another note, my truck is at the dealer for its 20k service and I'm finally getting a new windshield installed. You can see the cracks in my windshield in these photos.

Just put mine on too, it’s handy for sure. I’m thinking 1 mag is a good starter to test the 2-sided tape. If it passes..go for 2. 😬

Finally got around to driving the Apache Trail east of Phoenix yesterday. This is one of the most scenic drives in Arizona. The road closed back in 2019 after a rockslide on one of the steepest parts above the Fish Creek Canyon bridge. They finally reopened it in September 2024. I haven't been down there in about 20 years. A buddy and I camped a few miles up Fish Creek Canyon over New Year's 2000 to 2001 so I also hiked back up the Canyon to revisit all the cool rock piles. There are sections where absolutely massive bus-sized boulders are all jumbled together. The GX did great, as usual. About half of the drive is tight & twisty canyon asphalt and Sport+ mode was fun. Then it hits dirt and of course the GX was right at home. Did a bit of a harder side trail called Tortilla Trail too.

Does the trailhead have an address?
Get directions to Goldfield Ghost Town in Apache Junction - it’s near the beginning of the Apache Trail. The “Trail” is State Route 88 going from AJ to Roosevelt Lake. It’s about 45 miles total.

Thanks for the link, nonamex! I checked my spreadsheet and I don't have the black front emblem entered.

I originally bought a matte/matte emblem but I it was too dark for my tastes. So I emailed them and ordered a matte/gloss. They sent it to me for free so I gave my original matte/matte to TexasD90.

Here is a close-up of mine - it is a matte background with the gloss logo.
