Yesterday while I was driving to Sac I heard a loud explosion I didn’t know where it came from. I look around and check all windows then finally noticed that my roof sliding cover flapping. I immediately pulled over and checked my sunroof, it shattered into pieces. Weather in Sacramento was 91 degrees, is there any issues with the GX sunroof glass that Lexus needs to replace? I forgot to mention that I have a aftermarket roof rack, I which help prevent objects from hitting the sunroof. Thanks for the read.

I don't recall anyone on this forum reporting an issue with the moonroof. Check with Lexus for warranty replacement. I have read it is quite expensive to replace.
