For me it has its place as a extra tool I enjoy it

I have it on my GX 550 over trail plus, and I love it. I got the color heads up display, and I am very glad that I did. It works very well with AirPlay maps, and makes it very easy to spot upcoming turns, as well as the status of my speed and other convenient info

I like the hud in the gx
I use it all the time
I didn't think I wanted it. But now I won't buy a new car without it

I like it, handy to see speed limits and your speed without looking down. I bet it will be something that becomes standard on most luxury cars in the near future. Don’t think I’ll get a car without one moving forward.

I'd prefer to not have HUD but good luck finding a truck without it. In my opinion, it's just another clever gimmick....that you pay $900 for.
