That’s really promising. Wonder what’s their plan for the sports luxury trim though. I have been in queue for one since feb 24.

Not sure, I hope you get it soon, I put my 5k deposit down in June on the OT so was expecting it later in the year around Dec.

Keen to see some photos. We're in Cairns and have just ordered a Sports Luxury, delivery isn't meant to be until June next year... let the waiting begin
Going to spend this time to research as much as I can to make sure I can get all the bits that I want on it.
Interested to see what bullbar you go for, my intention was to see if I can fit a lightbar flush with the grill in some fashion, similar to how they are fitted to the Rangers etc. Wasn't keen on putting a bullbar on it, but it will depend on what options there are out there for them. This one is the missus' car, I've got a kitted out 79 for our Gulf/Cape and outback travels.

I can tell you, it’s much more comfortable than the 79! They’re very different but similar if you know what I mean? I’ve been to ARB, TJM etc, no one has a bull bar in their plans, however once the new Prado comes out we might get some options (I’m hoping). You’ll see me cruising around Cairns, if you do give a wave.
Off to Winton tomorrow morning, so I’ll make sure to take some pictures and videos. If anyone has any questions that I might be able to answer, just ask. Happy to help.

The App says 37psi and no, not really, the car is quite quiet, much better than the Tiguan we got rid of. There’s a little bit of wind noise but not too bad, again better than the Tiguan. The App is excellent and the key card is brilliant (it lives in my wallet). One thing that the Tiguan was much better at, was interior storage spaces, cubby holes, big door pockets etc. The seats are much much better in the GX, the multimedia is excellent but Carplay is slow on Bluetooth so I have a cable and it’s excellent.

My BMW X4 M40i had a bad entertainment system, when connecting via Bluetooth to my phone to play metal tunes it was hit or miss with huge delays when switching tracks. The only good thing was the interaction between the system and the heads up display, you could see the tracks as you scroll through on the HUD. How do you find the HUD on the GX?
