I took out my old Yakima hitch mount bike rack and try to mount on my new GX 550. Oops, this GX is not "regular" size outside the hitch. This is much wider hitch with two layers of walls. Inside is standard 2 inch hitch, and it has extra outside wall measuring total 90mm (3.54 inch) from side to side. My original bike mount bolt is not long enough to go through both holes and bolt thread cannot even reach nut due to dual layer wall design. Anyone has issues with your hitch mount bike rack? Any suggestions to get a longer bolt? I believe it is 5/8 inch bolt and nut Yakima comes with. Need a longer bolt with more thread length.

Yes, it IS a wider than standard receiver. Alone of short pins won’t work. I bought a longer pin. They are fairly easy to find.
You can get longer 5/8" bolts at most any good hardware store. I'd try Tractor Supply before Lowes or HD.
