Keep about 12 feet of clear fuel-rated tubing stashed in the truck or in a bail-out-bag. The tubing, along with a few simple tools, can get you all the fuel you need for quite a while if the shit hits the fan.

Bummer that these vehicles get such poor mileage … some day an electric version of the GX will crank out 600 plus miles on one charge and still do everything the current model does..

Good point. To add to it, what if you need to get somewhere suddenly thats further than 3/4 tank? Better to refill every time you drive the car just to be safe

Sonny half of an our usable tank (9.05 gallons) is only about 135 miles of distance. Very different for example than my sons Subaru which will take him 250 miles.

Frequent fill ups at 1/2 or even 3/4 tank may sound silly .. but in rare cases the habit can be valuable.
