Lights on A Pillar - Anyone recognize the mounts? (1 Viewer)

Anyone catch this teaser by NYTOP? I recently installed their sliders and although I didn't know they were made in China (might have swayed my decision to buy), they're really well built and sleek. I definitely like this bracket design compared to everything else on the market right now - emailed them about the video and was told the following:

"The ditch light brackets will fit a GX550 but not the 460... and, as for the reason they aren't on our website, patent pending :(
The timeline for sale is a bit hazy and we are hoping not to be caught in legal limbo. I wouldn't expect them to hit our website until AT LEAST Fall '25, if everything goes smoothly."

These are now available at NYTOP:

I was originally leaning towards these when I had my '24, but now that I'm in a '25 with the gloss black hood cowling, I'll probably go with the SDHQ mounts (and purchase the laser cut cowling pieces) - I also like that they have the mounting location pushed outboard a bit to reduce view obstruction. Anyone using KC Flex Era 4 lights? Wanting to pull the trigger next week and would love some feedback on those vs. Baja, Rigid, etc...

I don't like the look of lights up on the hood by the A-pillar like that. That's got to make wind noise. The Wescott mounts tucked in by the mirror are the least obtrusive. I wonder if those make wind noise?

NYTOP looks good. but Estimated lead time 8-14 weeks is holding me from pulling the trigger

the SDHQ look great. but not so happy i need to buy $170 mounts (simple metal) and then cowls ontop. Becomes expensive for a basic mount of a light.

I opted for the Victory 4x4 brackets and Dynamic Diode lamps,.

Looks pretty clean - does that setup make any wind noise?

I can definitely see a valid need for side lights angled out at about 45 degrees for when you're off roading in the middle of nowhere on a moonless night. When you have gazillion candlepower off the front you lose any visibility to the sides.

No wind noise with the Victory ditch light brackets. I'm not good at wiring so I had them installed. I have a front bumper coming in which I'll be installing a 30" light bar.

I do get into some tight and twisty turns on some of the trails we drive in southern Utah so the ditch lights really come in handy. Once I get the light bar on, I'll will be aiming the ditch lights out more to the side to balance out level of illumination.

I'll take some more photos tomorrow.
