I’m very interested in the LRA 24 gal.
I can see moving my spare to a back bumper/rack vs keeping it underneath.
But, if the upgrade doesn’t integrate with the electronic fuel range, mpg and economy tracking?

I like this one - a direct replacement for the stock tank but it holds 8 more gallons.

I can't find where this FK Industries is located. Seems to be outside the US as they use the term petrol and talk in liters.
It says ordering is thru alibaba - so I assume China.

I was informed by LRA in December that the GX tank might be a while longer. It was scheduled for 1st quarter of 2026.
This is for the 24 aux tank. The 16 gal version will be after the 24 gal gets released. The former will be available sooner if the latter aux does not sell well.
I'm patiently waiting for the 24 gal version.
The FK people did respond to my online inquiry. They said they are a factory in China. They also asked for my GX specs and they'd check for compatibility. I'll see what they have to say.
That FK brand certainly looks interesting. Both a main tank replacement and an auxiliary tank similar to what LRA is working on that wouldn't go in the spare location. Obvious question is how is the quality? I'd trust LRA with having been in the game a long time with a ton of real world users, don't see much on FK other than some other discussions with no one seemingly having used them.
Yeah....an unknown >$1,000 spend on an Alibaba China special is certainly a gamble. If they come back with a viable product line for our US-spec GXs, I'll feel them out a bit more.
Slee off-road was selling FK Long range tank on there website, it would be nice to find out what there option is on the product ? Right now it looks like it’s on back order.

We are excited to announce that the GX 550 aux tank is in development. We need feedback with regards to which tank will come first. A saddle aux tank or a rear aux tank.
The saddle tank will require an exhaust modification which will be Included and will allow for you to retain your spare tire. This tank will be +-16gal
The begins axle tank will require the spare tire to be removed or relocated to a bumper but won’t require an exhaust modification. This tank will be +-24 gallons.

Just heard from LRA. They are test fitting both the 16 gal and 24 gal tanks in early March and should announce something by the end of March. Release is looking to be around summer. Looking forward to this so I can take a trip to Las Vegas and complete my build.
I'm the lucky individual that's local to them that gets to be the test vehicle. I imagine they will probably test fit both types while they have my vehicle, but I'll be keeping the 16 gal saddle tank that leaves the spare tire as is. I'll have to confirm with them what all I am able to share once I have it back, but will definitely share what I can.
