Snap Shades (1 Viewer)

I got these from WeatherTech. Full car kit for every window. I sleep inside the truck when camping and these blackout the interior. Silver on one side and black on the other so depending on whether you’re trying to cool the car or help warm it up. Fits great. And for $165 for 8 windows.

Folks, I ordered about 4 weeks ago -- be warned, there is a supply issue here. I finally received an update from the company as follows:

"Due to changes in international shipping it is not clear right now when it'll arrive but we are experiencing extensive delay of greater than 30 days."

Bummer, because I was thinking these would be great as well. I canceled my order and the company was great about it. But I would just advise you to check before ordering.

How do these Weathertech blackout shades fit? Nice & tight with good coverage, or are there a lot of gaps? I've ordered front windshield shades specifically made for a vehicle and they usually have huge gaps, especially around the rear view mirror.

They fit about as good as it can get with hardly any gaps. You just push each piece in place. Hardly any light gets through.

Thank you for the heads up. Ordered my mine: a pair for the fronts and a pair for the cargo side windows. The rear hatch window ones are soldout unfortunately otherwise, I would've picked up that as well. A bit pricey at $187 OTD for 4 total but I think it is worth it.

Funny you mention this. I’ve literally noticed these over the past 2 weeks popping up more and more. It’s almost like a mesh sleeve that slips over the entire doorframe upper portion and you simply close the door and can leave the window open. Pretty cool idea.

the Weathertech front shade fits pretty good. It's a lot better than those flimsy accordion folding ones. Just a few tiny open areas at upper corners. Pics from today in bright sun.
