@VF Tuner Any update for all the Australians ?

I think they've established the CAN connect just doesn't work on our Aussie cars and they're exploring the ECU connection route.

VF Tuner, do I also need a "VF Tuner Toyota Gen4 CAN Connect Cable 3.5L GX550" or the "VF Tuner Phone Wiflash Kit - GX550" is all required for the pre-made mappings for 89, 91 and 93 octanes/ transmissions.

Also the descriptions of the CAN Connect Cable are contradicting. Could you please confirm if it is for the GX550 3.5L in the US. Thanks.

They've also simplified the activation and downloading of the tune. They now have a calibration/tune downloader in the software built-in.

All they need now is to update and provide clear instructions for each vehicle they offer.

Regarding AUS cars, we are making Direct ECU connectors. The wiring diagram for AUS cars simply doesn't align with what's in the actual car. Makes no sense.

Also we have received requests to make AGM Battery version files. So we are doing that too (higher voltage charging)

An AGM battery tune would be perfect for these trucks and I would imagine easy

@VF Tuner I'm sorry man, any chance you can put me into contact with James if he's handling that side of the logistics? My UPS tracking still doesn't show that UPS actually has the package. I ordered the Wiflash tune package back on 5/11, so it's been literally 4 months. I'm also confused with it needing to be two packages at this point? I was under the impression the wiflash package had everything needed.

if you have an already supported ID the files are accessible immediately via our calibration downloader. Zero wait time.

I do notice more power/torque after the 93 octane + transmission tune. I still need to drive it more.

I mostly drive local with a lot of stops signs and the GX is not smooth if you do some rolling stops. I'm hoping to get rid of the hesitation when you press the throttle coming from 25mph to 5mph and accelerate again(where the hesitation happens) to 25 mph.

maybe the new SHIFT3D tune can fix it? @VF Tuner, when?

I do not see the VF tuner app in Google Play Store, and wonder what is the actual name of the app, or you get it from somewhere else.

It took a while because they had some issues with the cable supplier. I believe that issue has been resolved.

I’m using Windows 11 laptop with the supplied usb c cable that came with the kit. Just make sure you exclude the install folder of VF Tuner app in your Microsoft Defender. You also need to connect the usb to the tuner before you start the software. It will not launch without it.

No idea with the mobile app. Maybe still in beta and need to be installed using apk or something.

We are working on getting the final bits done to have it on the play store.
in the mean time we can email you a link, just click it from your phone.
I'd expect it on the play store some time next week or so.
