🛠️ Member Build Victory 4x4 Molle Shelf/Panel System Installed

Member Build
I've looked at all the pics and then looked in my cargo bay and I think this shelf is probably a very good asset. I could use the room for notebooks, sharpies, tools, tape measure, baggies, phone, glasses, etc. while I'm working out of the back. Could also hold recovery gear, winch remote, axe, shovel, pistols, ammo, probably a folded-stock AR, etc. I just don't want it to be an in-your-face & in-your-way obstruction. I think I might try one out.

Not bad, looking forward to installing.

How about the kitchen sink, arc welder, missle launcher, honey pot and malt liquor - can that fit too? Now that your buying one - Victory had better get ready for the wave of orders Mr Trend Setter!

I’ll provide an honest and thorough review including overly-detailed installation photos, LOL. One hesitation is seeing it in my rear view mirror but that should be minimal….and give me the perfect excuse to go with a Wolfbox rear view mirror/camera system.

Think I’ll buy it and leave to side brackets on - and add the shelf when taking trips. Having it hit my RVM would drive me nuts.

If you put the side panels on how do you clean the back inside windows that the panels cover?
Power washer?

You can either loosen fasteners enough to reach behind the panels or not worry about them. I'm pretty OCD about my vehicles and washing the inside rear quarter windows in my 4Runner is about a once a year thing.

Regarding the top shelf: if you put things on the top shelf won't the items slide forward when you come to a stop. How would one get a hold of an item that slides forward. The same goes for heavy acceleration won't everything slide back?

If you look at the shelf, it has a full front edge that somewhat follows the contours of the transverse interior roof line, and the rear edge (facing the rear window) has about a 1-inch lip.
