conquered west camino cielo, in Santa Ynez Valley

did a couple days on the Peters Mill Run off road trail near Edinburg & Luray VA, while enroute to do some fishing on the Shenandoah River I literally drove right by it on Route 675. It's an approx. 8 mile trail and fairly easy but fun. Last week was wet and the red clay slippery so got to use the DAC in a couple downhill turns, works fantastic. Otherwise ran 4H with MTS, used center lock in few wet muddy areas. I prefer entering the trail from the south/west end and air up/down at the Peters Mill Run/Taskers Gap OHV parking area. The trail entrance is across the road from there. The trail has many areas to turn around if you don't want to do the full 8 miles. Air down to about 22 lbs due to rocks. Permits are $5 per day, can buy at the Bo's Express Shell in Edinburg. God's Country with the Blue Ridge Mountains, hiking trails with views of the Valley, and smallmouth bass fishing on the Shenandoah.
