I’m curious if anyone with lux+ has installed Sherpa/Wescott/Prinsu? I’m curious how it’ll look from the interior with the panoramic sunroof. I’ve browsed through the forums but it doesn’t seem like it’s a common setup

Just installed the westcott today. With the sunroof clear you obviously see several crossbars. With the privacy glass on it give a cool stripped shadow effect. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow is the suns out.

Does the front of the Westcott rest/touch the body? From what I’ve read the Sherpa does not, which I prefer. I do like that the Westcott is lighter..both weight and on the wallet.

Yes, the Westcott rack does touch the roof at the front. There is a rubber gasket that actually touches the roof. This is why the Westcott rack is the quietest out there. I'm sure there would be a rub mark on my roof if I removed the rack but I don't care. It would probably buff out but it's a non-issue as the rack is there to stay.

I just installed the Sherpa Atlas full fairing on my OT+ a few days ago.
Better mounting with the rubber blocks, 1/4" aluminum vs 3/16" and no cutting.
Sun roof has no issue and I didn't install a cross bar directly over the sun roof and instead installed it farther back.
I can always easily move it forward over the sun roof if I ever need to.

Vote sherpa. Their rubber blocks have never caused me any issues on previous vehicles. I agree - would not install a rack that included squirting silicone on my roof.

Just installed mine. Can i ask what you did with the OEM seals between the sherpa rubber feet? They just kinda lay there and will get blown away. The front stays cause the rubber feet sits on it but the others can blow away. I didnt see mention of it in their video or pdf. Thanks

Did the same but with the Victory 4x4 roof rack. Shark fin fits fully inside roof rack, sunroof fully operational.

I have the 3/4 Victory rack and have no noise. It also has a rubber seal that seals the front to the roof. I recommend using a small strip of PPF under the seal to prevent and paint damage.

Westcott on my OT. I left off one crossbar at the sunroof.

I was really interested in Wescott, but went with Prinsu because of availability. With Prinsu selling soo many units there will be more options.

The light bar is wired to the Garmin Powerswitch, which is attached to the battery. The Garmin uses bluetooth to connect to your phone/carplay. I did not want to drill holes so I went this route. I have photos in the Overtrail Upgrades thread.

Thanks for the comments. I am doing a similar set up on my OT+, aka, Sherpa Atlas with a Baha Onix Light bar (as well as a behind the grill mounted light bar). I was assuming I can use the AUX switches already installed in the OT+ for light control. Are you saying that some drilling might be required for this?

If you have the 2025 version or beyond that has the aux switches then just wire it there. We with the 2024 didn’t have that luxury so had to get power switches.
