Has anybody figured out a way to run yellow fogs without using a vinyl overlay? PFA

Probably an L1B LED like most other Toyota models.
GRC will use either Hyuga Yellow LED or IPF from RHDJapan

Thank you very much

Not hard at all
Just had to figure out what to take off under the bumper and what screws/push pins to remove from the fender liner to pull it back and expose the lights
So you had to remove bumper to do this? Thought they’d sit directly behind front fender liner

I still want something that is yellow when off & iluminated. Thinking about buying extra housing units & film or spray. Or just wait for something else to come out. I don’t want go film or spray the outer housing tho if that makes sense

not sure how you will be able to get yellow when off with a led bulb and not using tint on the outer fog lens.

You were able to obtain that with halogen bulbs and reflectors on older light housings but leds are just tiny diodes

Looks like there is an ‘inner lens’ that the bulb locks into. I would prefer that be yellow vs the outer housing if that makes sense.

yes, that makes more sense. I, on the other hand, want to be able to control fogs independent of the headlights.....That might solve your problem since the fogs will always be on and yellow. :)

Im trying to swap the inner (circular) housing, not just bulb. See photo

Agreed not hard at all. Id say 10-15 minutes per side.

A few Phillips/10mm screws and push pins, peel back the wheel well liner, and then you have access to the bulb to replace it.
