24 vs 25 OT OEM 1” Lift Details via reddit (9 Viewers)

I get that the leveling of the vehicle makes sense. What about heavy loads; would think there has to be an advantage to a higher rear so the vehicle is level if you are hauling weight or a trailer-
The appearance looks ok to me as is, so that part is fine with me. I agree that having the rear sprung a bit higher makes sense given loads being more focused at the rear.

The rear spring on the 25 is definitely different than the rear spring on the 24 I and others had. If you look at the measurements that I posted, you can see that by swapping the 25 for the 24, the car goes up about 1 inch front and rear.
Interesting. Says same part # online

That is odd. When everyone here was looking into this issue we found different part numbers. I saw that on the online sellers as well as the Lexus dealer (where I ended up ordering mine). At the request of someone I counted the coils in the ones that came on my car and the 25 springs that someone else had on hand and they were different. And as I said, the measurements I did fairly carefully clearly indicated a more or less identical increase in lift front and rear both. Perhaps they’re no longer selling the original 24 rear springs?

Yes exactly. Depending on your use, a bit of rake contributes to a level tow vehicle, which keeps steering, front braking normal; and reduces possible extra wear and tear on rear components. Helps handling while towing.
That’s what we did with my suspension upgrade, dialed in a bit of rake via the front struts. Another option is adding airbags on the rear to get the same level vehicle for towing, which some may prefer.

When I search the part #s from the OP the front says “2025 coil spring” and the rear says “2024-25 coil spring” leading me to believe the rear spring is identical. Is that the case? If so, I would definitely only swap the frontsView attachment 17203
Hi, confirmed by looking pre-install picture of my purchased coils that is the 2025 part number. I can confirm it works on a 2024 (mine) and provided a 1” rear lift.

Looks like they are only making the new part number going forward..

Since the 24s springs are discontinued, get them when you can. I have 24 springs for sale,

I'm only interested in disposing of both together to someone.
Thanks for the inquiry.

Maybe... but, just to be clear, the 2024's will lower the whole vehicle by an inch... I've got a 2025, which I love, but lowering it an inch would help me a lot! Let me know the price; might be worth the drive to beautiful Nashville!

Hi message me privately and we’ll plan. Swapping the 24 springs I have in a box now for the 25 springs increased the height of my vehicle from the rear approximately 1 inch, so I would assume that putting them in a 25 would have the reverse effect.

Hello, I'm looking for a set of 24OT springs to lower the rear of my 25 premium. If the other model of the 24's are lower/softer please advise as I would be interested in those if thats the case. I do think it needs it and I don't take it off-road. The rear looks too high to me. The light gray on the front side is a reflection.

now you tell me. tossed them couple of months ago.
i'm not sure you want to mix n match springs. it sits high because it's designed to carry some load. if you're not feeling like adding some load in the rear, a pair of 24 or even non-lift, light OME should be < $500 for the pair but don't get your expectations too high other than appearances.
also shorter springs will be stiffer not softer. the 25-24 spring change has longer/softer rear and same length/stiffer fronts.

I have 2025 OT springs on the front and 2024 on the rear springs and love the look and the ride.
