So, my front driver seat has developed a significant wear spot on the the side of the seat where it smashes into the plastic when you slide out of the seat. Lexus says they won't warranty it because it's a "wear" item. My wife's 460 seats still look brand new.

Anybody else have this issue?

I've noticed that the exact same area on mine is getting a bit tired and it will be the first area to show significant wear. Not much that can be done except being conscious to use the step on the slider instead of just sliding out.
