Took my MT64s off my LC250 and want to use them on the GX but does anyone know if the LC version is tuned differently? I've heard they're identical in every way but also heard they might be tuned differently for the hybrid battery weight and could be rough on the GX. Also reached out to ARB but also wanted to ask the group since they sometimes take forever to respond.

Separately, has anyone with MT64s used Dobinson rear springs instead of OME? I have both #3338 and #3339 (440lb) rear springs but thinking the Dobinson CV-819V (220-400lb) might be the sweet spot.

I ran this setup on my GX550 for several months. Once the springs fully settled, I ended up with a pretty significant amount of rake. I contacted ARB about it, and they told me the kit was tested on the LC250, not the GX550, even though they sell the same kit for both vehicles.

With the full non-HD MT64 setup front and rear on the GX550, you’ll likely end up with around 1.5–1.75" of rake even with the front struts set at the top perch.

The GX550 carries more weight up front, while the LC250 hybrid carries more weight in the rear, so the same spring combination doesn’t balance the two vehicles the same way.

If I were doing it again, I’d either run a lighter rear spring with the standard MT64 front struts, or run the HD front struts with the non-HD rear springs.

Super helpful! Are you still running the same setup?

I have the non-HD fronts and wll be running a rear bumper, spare tire, fridge and hopefully can retrofit my LC drawers into the GX as well. Based on what you're saying, maybe the non-HD rear springs will make it as close to level without sagging.

Trial and error time!
