I didn't try it, but the slots look the same over to the left and right and the mount is the same size as a plate so I don't see why you couldn't shift it quite a bit in either direction if you wanted to.

I really like my Sly BOZZ bracket with leveler. It allowed me to offset the placement, which is what I prefer.

Looks good. Did your GX550 arrive with the factory plate bracket already installed and if so, what did you do about the drill holes? I pick mine up tomorrow and unfortunately it came off the truck with the bracket already installed. Thanks!

Sorry, just saw this now. I insisted with my dealer that they not drill my front bumper for a plate upon arrival to the US and they obliged my request.

I also use the Platypus. Very well made but the screw threads will mangle the grill if you are not careful. I also had to install it on the bottom rung of the grill for more stability. That said, I love it.

I picked up the Carbonio bracket for my GX and it has more than met expectations. Installation was quite straightforward, and the plate is very sturdy after putting 1000 miles on my vehicle so far. Would recommend.
