Transmission Issue - Dealer Claims Nothing Can Be Done

I have a Lexus GX 550 Luxury Plus, and the same thing has happened to me with the transmission and brakes. I think they're the most common problems. At the shop, they disconnected the battery for 30 minutes, and so far, I haven't had any more problems with the transmission. That was done on Monday, and as of today, Thursday, no problems. My car has 7,000 miles.
Had the clunky 2-1 downshift on my 2025 P+ <1,000 miles. I disconnected the negative on the battery for ~20mins to reset the ECU. Issue has gone away so far so if you don't feel like taking it into the dealer this is an option you can do at home. Still obviously let your dealer know about it so we can hopefully get a real fix. It does give me more confidence it is a software issue and nothing with the actual transmission as it was night and day as soon as I did the reset.

Happy for your choice. But what are you still doing here and what do these posts contribute to the community?

Fallen is just saying:
