Tires looks more like a 275/70/18, but maybe it looks smaller to me since it’s lifted with Kings.
He posted they were 285/70 but ya look smaller with the Kings lift. Could have easily gone bigger
I've been looking at Volk ZE40X since before I bought my GX, and am beginning research on sizes so that I'm ready by the time I'm ready for new tires. I'm uncertain on diameter and width for my use though. I know that I want to preserve towing capability, am likely to go with a tire that can fit the spare wheel well, and is likely max 285 width. I plan to do some light to moderate duty off-road as well, and prefer the tire to be near or under the fender. Reading about wheel widths and offsets, it seems like higher offset are closer to maintaining factory scrub radius and are better for articulation/clearance.

And what are the pros/cons of an 8.5" width compared to 8"? I'm open to other wheels, but the ZE40X has been the one I keep coming back to—it's unfortunate they don't offer offsets ~+30.

Beyond aesthetic differences some 17" wheels barely clear the brake calipers.
For offroading I think you'll have more choices for tires in 17" vs 18" but this might be changing as wheels seem to be getting bigger every year.
I find it odd the 275s are nearly identical weight as the 285s
Is this the CH-R? Do they have the correct fitment? Very interested...
That's a BBS TS-M. These do come in an appropriate GX fitment though they're slightly aggressive. The common size for these is 18x9 ET0 so it's aggressive but not crazy. Should look really good if you don't mind a little poke.
These are the TS-M, they’re releasing a few models that will fit.
The build looks great. I am looking to put the same size tires (looking at Mickey Thompson Baja Legends) on 18 wheels. I have a 24 Luxury plus and will add the Wescott Leveling Kit. What offset are your Vossens? I feel like +25 would fit without rubbing and provide a sharp look. Unfortunately at the moment, almost all the 18 inch wheels seems to be (+18, +12 or wider, unless you want to go to +35 or narrower).

Hi all, new GX owner here. I have a 2025 Premium+. Looking to get a set of new wheels and need some help/advice. Thinking of getting a set of wheels that are 18x8 +22 offset. Would I be able to fit a 285/70/18 tire size without any cutting or trimming on Stock suspension? Thanks in advance!
The Baja Legends are fantastic tires. I would highly recommend something like the Peak kit instead of the Westcott as it will ride significantly better without a bunch of preload on the spring. Regardless however, that's a solid gameplay and if you can find a wheel in your desired offset, it will look aggressive, shouldn't rub, and I think you'll be very happy. I agree that around +20 is a nice sweet spot with a slight poke but still looks OEM+
