Each day at startup, I truly love the engine growl. It does settle down a few seconds later but sounds so masculine at ignition.
This is with the standard exhaust.
Coming from an LX, it sounds and drives more like a sports car. It is a bit louder with more interior plastics, but is nearly as comfortable as the LX.

It was a 2021 and was totally bulletproof. But I had an accident, repaired it and the dealership still offered me top value with nearly 90k miles on it.
I would have kept it longer but the rear suspension was making funny noises from time to time, despite a full repair at the Lexus facility.

I have the cat back exhaust. If you like the stock exhaust you’d probably swoon for the cat back. The low grumble and hum first thing in the morning under my feet is what gets me going.

Agree on the morning growl! We test drove a GX with the catback exhaust and didn’t like the drone at cruising speeds. I honestly really like the sound of the GX in Sport + mode. I know it’s artificial but it checks the box for me without the drone.
