We have a 2025 OT Plus and heading out on a long road trip. My wife has purchased a Starlink mini and I am wondering what others have done to mount in the truck and how to power it?

Has anyone bought an M18 adapter for Starlink Mini? Wondering about Swarfworks or Savage UTV

Thanks

I have the Starlink Mini permanently mounted on the RTT via the Savage UTV Mini Quick Release. It is wired to the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max battery system.

I haven't put mine in yet on the GX, but on my old 4Runner I just had it in a magnet mount sitting in the back against my Westcott roof rack. Never moved at all and just had the wire ran through the grommet under the rear spoiler and plugged into the accessory port in the back. Worked great and probably plan to do the same with the GX. It was hidden enough I was never really worried about anyone stealing it.

I'm considering a Starlink Mini setup for my GX as well.

I'm planning on using flush-mount brackets to permanently mount it up on the rack. There are a bunch of options out there.

Striker Fabrication seems to be the top choice but their multitude of options are a bit confusing.

Starlink Mini

I think I'll buy the Starlink and so I can handle it and fully understand what I'm working with, then choose the right option.

I also want to have some kind of protection over it, such as an HDPE panel or silicone sleeve.

I’m using seasucker mount, attached to rear hatch window 90 degree, connected to 12v from oem compressor.

What do you mean "rear hatch window 90 deg"?

Yup tested both hwy and off roading, not a single movement. I’m also using their waterport 4 gallon system holder which weight about 40lb with full tank of water. I mount them whenever I go on trip / camping on driver side rear window. I was little skeptical about water tank falling out or breaking glass but no issue so far. Very handy and easy to attach / taking off.

The GP Factor mount is a good option as well. Very stout. It is my backup if the Savage mount goes south.
Nonamex, DJ here…your latest updates and mods are outstanding. I’ll get back to you on the itinerary soon. I spent today mitigating 30 trees and a huge amount of scrub brush. Exhausted.

Do you have a link for those 2 options you mentioned?

I do have a good soft storage box, black non-descript, no prying eyes, water proof zipper to stash the mini in when I don’t need it. It will stay strapped down up top. To deploy it I’d like to see your 2 options.
Whichever option, I’ll likely mount it on the front portion of the roof rack, shown here.

Thanks man.
