I have a brand new GX 550 L+. I just acquired it last week. I’m just waiting for my device to be registered by your support team and I will send over my ECU reading ASAP.

@VF Tuner have you had any reports of getting several error codes after hard acceleration? I’ve had the 93 octane tune successfully flashed for several days now. I had to floor it getting out of my neighborhood as I misjudged the speed of an oncoming vehicle. It was a bit wet so my traction control kicked in at around 45mph. Then all the sudden alarm bells started going off and it went into limp mode. I cycled the vehicle power and it returned back to full power but still showing check engine and secondary collision assist errors.

I’m going to reflash down to 91 + TCU and run diagnostics but have you or Anybody encounter this?

No, I’ve only owned this vehicle for a few weeks. Recently hit 1000miles. So haven’t don’t any hard acceleration until today.

I don’t have any additional modifications other than this tune.

Our GX is arriving soon and I’m thinking that the 87 tune is going to be the best for us because when traveling I don’t want to have to shop for 89,91,93 gas. Has anyone used this tune with an intake/exhaust? The AFE inlets have an issue at the moment, so I’m not going to add those until that issue is confirmed to be fixed.

Has any tuned theirs to 87? Results?
What happens if someone puts 89,91,93 in an 87 tuned system?

My laptop is a USB C only rig... can I just use any standard USB-C or is the VFTUNER cable proprietary to the CANBUS
