I really detest the stupid cool box. It greatly reduces the utility and size of the center console. I wish the US vehicles didn’t automatically come with this option.

Bambed is nice. We installed the Miller Cat Shield since cat theft is rampant here and the gx 550 cats are just sitting there ready for a Sawzall. The Rally Armor mudflaps, a Prinsu Pro roof rack and the overland kitted folding maxtrax mounts and the dmod tool mount are our other mods.

The shelf was an outstanding add - I love it!

I've been not been able to get them to reply to emails for a refund - the unit is easily installed on US vehicles not Aussie vehicles where we need to strip the dash to install it

Contact Dynomotive they released a chip set-up for GX550 I've done my Prado and had no problems for six years. Check their YouTube video

I installed the Beat Sonic stereo amp. Huge difference in the sound. Better than the ML. So far it's only for non ML units. Made a world of difference and easy install.

Bang for the buck is the light for the tailgate already mentioned. Can't beat it and true probably should have been in there from the beginning.

I have had them in all of my previous vehicles but they do not make them for the GX550 (or the Landcruiser) with the cool box. I've requested the product on their site so, unless I find an alternative I will do without....
One note. If others are interested they did say if many people request the product it may happen.

We gave our bambed away to our human resource as he camps all the time and we sort of with help built our own to replace that platform.
