Front Bumper Guard Base Cover fasteners - Copy.webp

By the way, that long narrow piece (Front Bumper Guard) you are reattaching is made of soft-ish plastic, and I'd think the plastic would deform (squeeze) before the fastener would snap. That's an educated guess, not from actual experience.

It did not deform, but bolts snapped off, should not have an issues to replace it

The plastic trim has large holes and the bolts (as you can see from Harry1983's pics) have a matching section that sits proud of the bolt head, in order to allow the bolt to secure the skidplate without crushing the plastic.

It's not my favorite design, because you really have to tighten the hell out of the silver skidplate bolts to prevent it rattling, but you need to be kinda careful about these black ones (hand tools only, I suggest). Sorry about the bad luck, Harry - hope the repair goes well.

Thank you. Already Bought 10 of these bolts.
By the way i also purchased 8 quarts of Lexus 0W-20 oil just for 39.95$😳 with shipping from New Jersey to Houston. Just google it. Lots of dealers doing promotion right now.

Watch this thread for when the 25% discount sales happen, you can get eight qts oil, a filter and a sacrificial gasket for under $40. Purchase enough for two oil changes and shipping is free.
