My dealer matched the online deals (or very close to it) so it was an easy decision to take it past 100K miles. They originally would not but I insisted that I can get a better deal and showed them this post! Thanks

I recently asked my dealer to price match, they said they can't go that low but can get close. Their get close was within two or three hundred. However I'd have to pay sales tax at my dealer vs. no sales tax with Jerry/MidwestSuperStore/Kansas, so I plan to purchase from Jerry.

If you send him an email and tell him what vehicle you have and what the VIN is and how many years and miles you want, he should get back to you.

I am debating whether or not to get the extended warranty for my 2022 GX. I have less than a month to decide. 10/100K is $3,300. I don't drive much so the warranty would cover my vehicle for six more years if I keep it. Typically, whatever I decide is wrong and as it stands now I can afford to pay for whatever repairs are needed in the future. Crap shoot.

FOR GX 460, ext. warranty is $1,065 for 5 years/80K miles. So, I assume similar cost for GX 550.

I met with the sales financial guy today at Santa Barbara Lexus and his quote for a seven year 75,000 platinum warranty was $5300… I think I’ll keep looking around.

It surprises my how every region is different.
Lexus Panama has implemented in the purchase of the car a 10 year 200,000.km.warranty
The condition for it .... Is to have it serviced in their service centers and do the requested repairs no additional cost.

Soo our pricess are based on Japan so to start.
Japan only offers 2 versions
The luxury and the overtrail.
Overtail starts at $75,000.00 usd (12,000,000 Yen)
After that then Panama has stong import taxes
25% over the vehicle price once its over $25,000.00 usd.
Then over that , Luxury TAX OF A 10% over vehicle price
+ 7% Itbms.
Final value of $106,500.00 for it to be legal here... Then the dealers markup..
So 42% of taxes for every vehicle here + the dealers "markup".
The Gx550 luxury is $138,000.00 usd
The Gx550 overtrail es $115,000.00 usd

I paid $110,000.00
That came with 10 year warranty
And services up to 60,000 kms.( 10,000 kms interval)

The Lx600 here in Panama is $168,000.00 usd
We got a very good deal last month
